LA RIVER Revitalization
NORTH ATWATER LANDBRIDGE:
Produced in 2010, countering Mark Twain’s bet on investing (“Buy land, they aren't making it anymore.” Mark Twain (1835-1910), we combined it with cues from our local arroyos and proposed a modern version of shifting sands/lands to propose a new urban approach to creating park space, a system of pedestrian & equestrian bridges to serve a revitalized LA River. We envisioned a complete network of dedicated non-vehicular paths and bridges to reestablish broken community connections for the full length of the LA River.
